We recently added a new feature to the G1 platform to better facilitate the process of closing your cash registers. With this latest update, we now provide the ability to prevent a cash register from being closed, if there is an open order with payments applied.

When this feature is enabled for a location, users will receive a warning message on the Cash Register page notifying them that they cannot complete the process of closing their register until all orders are closed or payment is removed from the open orders.
